The Trip...
You will be fascinated by the cultural practices of the people in northern Ghana. Learn about Mole national park the biggest in Ghana and come in contact with untamed but friendly elephants, you will also meet with the local communities near the park. This tour gives you an insight into the lifestyle of the people in Mognori eco village- who live in tune with nature, grow what they eat and eat what they grow, prepare local drink and stay in mud houses, Paga where crocodiles are treated as sacred, Sirigu for pottery and traditional painting, and Tamale the capital of the northern region.
Your visit is much welcome since it will go along way to develop the local communities. Funds generated are used in building toilet facilities, visitors centres, and create jobs for the local tour guides, women in basketry, pottery, traditional painting and local catering services.

The Difference...
The northern regions are considered as the poorest regions in Ghana. We want to use tourism as a tool to eliminate or reduce poverty in these areas. Through your visit the entrance fees are used to develop the local community in a sustainable way and as you purchase local souvenirs you will be creating jobs for the youth and women in the various sites who are finding it difficult to cater for themselves and their families. They engage in activities such as basket weaving, pottery and traditional painting.
We encourage you to immerse yourself into the local culture and respect the local people. Ghanaians in general are the friendliest in Africa and are always willing to teach and explain our culture to travellers and tourists.
