What is it?
The luxurious sleeping huts are spread out in a beautiful baobab and flower park in the middle of a small authentic village called Toubacouta. The harmony with the local population makes you feel at home in this bush village. Enjoy the ‘teranga’, the typical Senegalese hospitality, and drink in the relaxed and highly captivating culture. Adventure and total freedom at your own pace.
Some of the activities
Visit of a typical African village
Early in the morning (7h – 7h30), together with a guide we bike through the savannah where we can observe lots of tropical trees, such as baobabs, flamboyant, eucalyptus and the kapok trees with his  enormous branching. If we are lucky we will see monkeys crossing our way and of course we will see a lot of tropical birds. We ride between different villages where we meet the local population and get to learn a bit about their habits.

Day excursion Badoudou
A mixture of divers’ activities will make this an unforgettable trip for you. You will leave the domain by car and visit BADOUDOU and follow up the history of the village. Then it is time to relax. You will return by boat to the hotel and pass the beautiful nature near the water. Enjoy Africa!

L'Île aux Oiseaux
The Bird Island is the last island that separates the Sine Saloum-Delta from the Atlantic Ocean. After a long journey by proa between the mangroves, which are already a very great deal to discover, you will moor on the beachy coastlines of the widely famous Bird Island, including the world's most important stern-breeding ground for migratory birds. During this half-day excursion, you might see the fish eagle and the African Tantale.
The difference
The hotel has already helped out in quite a few important humanitarian projects during the past few years. And they will continue to do so. But, as far as possible, distributed on a larger area, namely Niombato, almost as large as a Belgian Province. Here are a couple of the projects that they are currently working on:

Operation Clear Water
The construction of a well and water catchment areas in Toubacouta: these wells provide the population of fresh water (the existing sinks was brackish water – half salt). Now, the people can focus on gardening. Their vegetable harvest is sold to the hotels. In this way a new crop can be sown, and the local population has an additional income. The achievement of these wells took 2.100.000 FCFA or €3.281.

Operation Hyena
The hyenas continuously violated the cemetery of the local population. Therefore, a solution was the construction of a wall around the cemetery. The construction of the wall was a great success, the hyenas remained out of the wall. The cost amounted 5.000.000 FCFA or €7.810.

Operation Good Report
Together with 3000 travel agents, they help out with the development of the people and children. Customers also are free to bring clothing, medication, educational equipment, etc. It’s also possible to buy educational equipment in the hotel. The yield is entirely used for helping out the schools.
